A Five-Session Workshop with Cheryl Tefft
Discover how elegant flourishes can add movement, balance, and personality to your calligraphy.
If you've ever admired beautifully flourished calligraphy and wondered how artists make it look so effortless, you're not alone. Flourishing is one of the most sought-after skills in calligraphy, but it doesn't have to feel intimidating.
In this workshop, Cheryl Tefft will guide you through the principles of broad-edge flourishing using Italic calligraphy as the foundation. You'll learn how flourishes grow naturally from your letterforms, when to use them, and how to create graceful compositions that enhance your lettering rather than overwhelm it.
With Cheryl's clear, encouraging teaching style, you'll build confidence one flourish at a time.

Beautiful calligraphy isn't just about forming letters.
It's about creating movement across the page.
Thoughtfully placed flourishes add elegance, rhythm, and personality to your work. They guide the reader's eye, create balance, and transform simple words into beautiful compositions.
Best of all, flourishing isn't about natural talent. It's a skill built on a few timeless principles that anyone can learn with practice.
